One of Ivan’s big thrills was to design a sculpture of country music legend, Hank Snow, commemorating the 100th birthday of the singer in May, 2014. Snow was born in Brooklyn, Queens County and Ivan lives and works in the community. The big birthday party was a major event, taking three years to plan and attracting local and national media to the Hank Snow Home Town Museum in Liverpool. A commemorative stamp from Canada Post was unveiled as was Ivan’s sculpture of the Grand Ole Opry star.
